Students make an impression with Cherry Hub

ACU’s Digital Marketing students received an opportunity to share their thoughts, opinions, and strategies with the tech start-up Cherry Hub.

Cherry Hub partnered with the Peter Faber Business School for ACU’s newly redesigned digital marketing course, where students are taught industry-ready digital marketing skills from a tactical, operational, and strategic perspective.

Students enrolled in ACUs digital marketing course were provided with a market-ready challenge of reviewing Cherry Hub’s current digital strategy, and developing a marketing plan to 1) build awareness across the industry of licenced clubs and hotels, and extend into adjacent hospitality and entertainment businesses where membership and loyalty are key to their business operations and growth, 2) educate the market on the benefits of a transformation to digital to improve their engagement with customers, and 3) provide thought leadership in the post-COVID-19 market.

Students, Amelia Vedelago, Rita Slan, and Eric man Tamrakar were invited to share their ideas about the future of Cherry Hub’s marketing strategy in an hour presentation to their management team. Post presentations, they have been offered internship opportunities to bring their visions to life.

Established in 2021, Cherry Hub is a digital platform that helps venues grow their revenues through better customer engagement and experiences. It helps such venues create commercial opportunities by integrating their operational systems and using their customer data, which is exactly what the industry needs right now.
