Launching live project based Learning for professional experience.

ACU has partnered with Practera an Experiential Education provider (as part of a successful $50k grant) to develop a digital platform that will enable students to collaborate with an industry client to address a real industry project. Student teams will be supported by a business mentor during the six week practical program.

Industry clients include, not for profit: CASSE – Quakers Australia – The Adelaide Harmony Choir

creating a safe and supportive environment – Vision A reconciled Australia, with a two-way cultural heritage, living and dreaming together.

The learning framework for this BIPX301 6 week Pilot program consists of:

● Effective Virtual Teamwork ● Emotional Intelligence & Goal Setting ● Tools of the Trade: Communication & Collaboration ● Growth Mindset, Imagination & Resilience ● Virtual teamwork Struggles ● High Performing Teams – Conflict Resolution ● Experiential Learning 2 (Reflection focus) ● Giving and Receiving Feedback ● Articulating Your Experience ● Introduction to Global Skills ● Project Planning & Management ● Structured Problem Solving (SCQA) ● Conducting Research (tips, tools & frameworks for industry research and customer research) ● Synthesise Research & Develop Recommendations ● Professional Communication ● Responding Effectively to Client Feedback ● Managing Client Expectations ● Presentation skills & tips ● Networking and ● Brief Support Frameworks -tools relevant to the brief
